I see therapy as an opportunity to address the pain and obstacles in the way of living a balanced and fulfilling life. During therapy sessions we will collaborate to explore your strengths and passions and develop ways to help you move closer towards your goals in relationships, vocation, self exploration and self acceptance. I believe you are the expert on your life and I bring warmth, creativity and humor to the work. Addressing troubling thoughts, painful emotions can be a gateway towards change, acceptance and new beginnings.

Over the last 14 years I have specialized in young adult issues, life transitions, couples counseling, addiction and grief and loss. At times, I draw from evidenced based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

I endeavor to support the development of insight, self acceptance and strategies you may call upon to help improve your sense of wellbeing and empowerment, develop self confidence and the personal resources need to progress towards your goals.
