Ronna Evans

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and often use mindfulness practices along with relaxation techniques during sessions. I have over 30 years of experience working with individuals, families, children and adolescents, which includes couples and family mediations. My experience has been in outpatient psychiatric clinics, residential settings for teens, parent coaching and private practice. I have also facilitated workshops, and teach meditation that supports people in mindfulness and getting clearer and calmer within themselves. My specialties lie in working with young adults, parents and families.

It is important to create an emotionally safe space for all individuals, as we often don’t feel seen, acknowledged or heard. I have a unique and precise way of being with people that is motivating for clients to make sustaining changes. In these intimate sessions, people will experience the authenticity of compassion and inner growth. Clients have stated that my gentle assertiveness has inspired them to make the permanent changes necessary for their inner healing.

Over the years, I have come to realize the deeper solutions to problems revolve around forgiveness to others and ourselves. Compassion is of the utmost importance in re-establishing trusting relationships and is the key to inner healing and transformation. I am dedicated and committed to finding more compassionate ways of being in this world and have come to see that respectful and honest communications is a powerful way to grow compassion in the world.
