About Rachel
Rachel Mahoney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults in both individual and family therapy. Rachel is originally from the midwest and received her masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Rachel’s experience comes from her work at both Aurora Mental Health Center and Kaiser Permanente Behavioral Health Clinic. Rachel works with clients on a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, parenting, grief/loss and trauma. She uses a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). No two journeys are the same therefore Rachel individualizes her work with each client in a collaborative, compassionate way. She helps clients navigate through their journey to be able to process, grow and truly heal.

In compliance with Colorado state licensing requirements, video sessions are only available to clients physically located in Colorado at the time of their appointment. Prior to your first session, Rachel Mahoney will send you everything you need to join your secure video call.
