I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from Marywood University and have over 12 years working with individuals and families plagued by Addictive-, Obsessive-Compulsive-, and Anxiety- Disorders.

My practice, Whole Hearted Counseling, provides a safe and empowering environment for individuals struggling with addiction and anxiety, to navigate challenges, identify solutions, and create lasting change.

My personal and professional experience with addiction, compulsive behavior, anxiety and recovery allows me to offer a unique perspective and inspires trust and mutual understanding for clients navigating the recovery process.

My style is compassionate, direct, supportive and creative. I approach addiction and recovery counseling with the belief that “addiction,” “recovery,” and “sobriety” are client-defined, and that every individual’s story is vastly different, yet broadly the same. This approach allows me to support you in exploring and creating the recovery path that best suits and empowers you to lasting lifestyle change. I do this through various therapeutic frameworks such as, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)-, Narrative-, Dialectical Behavioral (DBT)-, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)- Therapies, and Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention Strategies (MBRP). The first step to recovery is acknowledging the problem, the next is seeking help. Both of these actions require immense strength, self-awareness, and courage.
