With your guidance, we will work together towards a collaborative understanding of your challenges and experience. We will increase awareness and connect how behaviors, thoughts and feelings are directly correlated to your mental state and your history. Together we will find ways to implement change. Our therapeutic process will create evolution and growth for a more regulated and joyful life.
Denise Detrick has been in private practice clinician since 2002. Denise has experience win anxiety, depression, grief & loss and eating disorders. She is psychodynamically trained and utilizes CBT, IFS, mindfulness and EMDR. Denise graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and from the University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work. Her psychodynamic training comes the Denver Institute of Psychoanalysis at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her experience includes teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver for Clinical Social Work; working as a psychotherapist in eating disorder treatment facilities, mental health clinics and hospice.

In compliance with Colorado state licensing requirements, video sessions are only available to clients physically located in Colorado at the time of their appointment. Prior to your first session, Denise Detrick will send you everything you need to join your secure video call.
