I offer therapy that draws from multiple styles based on the client’s needs, though typically I focus on a solution-oriented and individualized style, where I seek to understand the client’s goals, individual strengths and barriers, and to help the client recognize and change systemic patterns.
I specialize in helping clients with issues related to the workplace or working. Some clients are referred to me due to problems with work-life balance, feeling stuck at work, difficulty advancing a career, toxic employers, or other workplace or career related issues.
In addition to providing 1:1 counseling services to Colorado residents, I occasionally will offer consultation services to workplaces in need of support.
I have worked in mental health since 2008, and I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, treating clients with a wide variety of needs. I practice as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, and am experienced working with substance abuse and dual diagnosis issues. I have formal training in CBT, Career Counseling, Trauma Informed Counseling, Culturally Sensitive Counseling, Empowered Recovery Pain Management CBT, and R3 Crisis Management and Debriefing.
