I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York, Illinois and now Colorado.  I have worked in a variety of clinical settings. My experience in community social service agencies, local government and HealthCare has given me a unique perspective.  I have had the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life.

With a passion for being a psychotherapist, I first established my private practice in suburban Chicago.  I love being a therapist!  I feel strongly about the importance of mental health and believe everyone can benefit from therapy.  I work from a strengths-based approach in which everyone can build on what they already have inside of them to grow and be their best self. I pride myself on developing a relationship based on guided self-discovery.

I see adults of all ages in my practice.  My clients have ranged in age from 21 to 95 years old.    The common thread for all is life transitions — from young adults who are finding their way to older adults struggling to come to terms with where life has brought them. Such transitions are often unexpected and can be difficult — these are times in our lives when change is inevitable and we must begin a new path. These include career transitions, relationship issues such as divorce, parenting, aging and retirement.

My goal is to help turn these moments into an opportunity for growth, reflection and clarity. I strive to help everyone gain insight and feel more at peace with themselves.

My family recently relocated to the Boulder area and I look forward to serving clients in Colorado.  I see clients virtually using a secure online platform. In-person appointments are also available in my Boulder office.
